Other information and recommendations about the COVID-19 security rules

● State as at October 15, 2020

Dear Sir or Madam,

Due to the persistent threats related to the COVID 19 epidemic, we would like to ensure that the safety of our clients and AGAP employees is our highest priority.

All operational recommendations introduced in connection with the coronavirus epidemic are current and valid at all times. The increased precautions we take are designed to protect your health and reduce the risk of infection. Detailed information on this subject can be found in the announcements previously published on the agap.pl website.

We are committed to applying all recommended and available precautions. Currently, there are no risk-free areas in the country, i.e. in the so-called "green" zone. From October 10, 2020, most locations are located in the "yellow" zone, i.e. the increased risk zone, and the rest in the "red" zone, where the risk of infection is significant. Due to this situation, we are maintaining the operational recommendations that we informed about earlier.

The coordination of courier activities proposed by us and support for your daily work, as well as compliance with safety rules were received by our clients with understanding and approval. Thank you very much for that. The positive feedback that we hear from you is for us proof of the trust you place in us. We do our best not to disappoint this trust. We ensure that every day we closely monitor the development of the situation and take care to comply with key safety rules.

We apologize for any difficulties or inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.

Best regards,

Agap Sp. z o.o

Dear Sir or Madam,

At this difficult time we feel particularly obliged to keep you updated on the current situation. We would like to assure you that we strive to work as best as possible despite the current circumstances - to mobilize our courier structures to assist you in your activities as satisfactorily as possible.

As a professional courier operator, we want, regardless of the situation, to support you with our daily work, and to adapt flexibly to your needs and requirements. We realize how much depends on the efficiency and pace of our activities, and on the speed of delivery of your shipments for their intended purpose even in such adverse conditions.

We are aware that together with your companies we have faced the need to reorganize our work. Despite the gradual defrosting of the economy, our security procedures will be maintained. We are constantly working on risk assessment and take into account all potential threats.

We would also like to remind you that since 9 March 2020, as we reported on our website www.agap.pl, we have done everything to help us ensure your work continuity [on March 9 this year, the economic service was closed until further notice; from that day on, all services provided from private addresses (the private address has become a special address for service) are performed in the VIP special service standard, in accordance with the price list for this service. On March 13, we closed the standard service until further notice. On 21 march Saturday was excluded from standard service until further notice]. All the changes introduced were the result of the introduction of the epidemic status in Poland due to the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. We also had to adapt to your increased security requirements and business obligations. All our activities are in accordance with the price lists of services specified for you in current contracts.
Once again, thank you for your solidarity and understanding in a situation that has affected us all.

Thank you for the words of appreciation that we have heard from you during everyday cooperation, submitted by phone. Thank you for your help and trust.

As always, your and our security are our absolute priority. We have trained our team in hygiene and effective protection against infection. We have introduced, among others, contactless delivery confirmation. The goal of this solution was to help couriers and clients to maintain the safe distance recommended in social contacts. The entire AGAP team, working for you, is currently equipped with protective and disinfecting agents. Thanks to this, we have not yet reported any case of coronavirus infection in our company.

Our operational recommendations introduced in connection with the epidemic are still valid. The increased precautions we take, including when you place orders, are designed to protect health and limit potential risks.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please be patient.

Once again, we want to ensure that the safety of you and your AGAP employees is our highest priority.

Best regards,

Agap Sp. z o.o

Dear Sir or Madam,

In connection with the current situation related to the COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic, we would like to brief you on the current state.

First of all, we thank all our clients for their solidarity and understanding in the face of the situation that has affected us all. Thank you for your support. Despite the reduced number of shipments you send, let's try to keep as many of the positives in our cooperation as possible from before the outbreak of the epidemic (from 18:30 Friday, 20 March 2020 epidemic status applies throughout Poland). We believe that we are acting for the common good and that we will all benefit from it.

When building all existing projects for you, the absolute priority for us was, broadly speaking,  security. We think about security in a global aspect, comprehensively and generally. We believe that safety and prevention is an opportunity to create appropriate attitudes and rules of conduct in unusual circumstances – while securing the daily operation of our courier services at your place of work.

That is why, in the current situation, we have introduced increased precautions to protect health and limit potential risks. The whole team at AGAP Sp. z o.o. working for you has been equipped with disinfectants and protective agents. We have not had any cases of staff becoming sick.

There are new challenges ahead of us. One of them is the delivery of parcels to a private address, which has become a special service address overnight. The security of using a private address in the current situation requires increased precautionary measures when accepting the order by the operator at AGAP Sp. z o.o. and a separate flow of information.

We have introduced non-contact confirmation – an alternative form of delivery confirmation and all employees have received the necessary instructions for proper behavior during the service, including limiting physical contact to the necessary minimum.

Currently, recipients of parcels are not required to sign to confirm receipt of the parcel. It is only necessary to indicate to the courier the name of the person receiving the parcel.

We operate as normal in Poland. On 21 March 2020, the service on Saturdays (dispatch and delivery) was excluded from the standard national website until further notice.
The implementation of special services remains on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

If you have any questions about the international website, please contact your designated customer support or customer service representatives.

We would like to assure you that the safety of you and our employees is our absolute priority.

Best regards,

Agap Sp. z o.o

● State as at March 13, 2020

Dear Sir or Madam,

Please read the full information below regarding the change of services offered resulting from the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The situation in courier transport remains critical due to the epidemiological situation. The conditions in which we work for you today are incomparable to the conditions in which we worked a week ago. The situation is changing constantly, and new information about the services offered will be primarily provided by AGAP employees when accepting orders.

We will keep you up to date on the availability and use of services in the field of city, national and international services. The above situation causes significant disturbances in operational work, which affects, among others, transport capacity.

The situation described above was unpredictable and is beyond the control of AGAP Sp. z o.o. creating at the moment a significant obstacle to the provision by AGAP Sp. z o.o. services for its clients. As a result, Agap Sp. z o.o. is forced to invoke, with immediate effect, force majeure in relation to contracts implemented for you and adapt the services offered to current conditions. On March 9, 2020, the economic service was closed until further notice. From March 9, 2020, all services provided from private addresses will be provided in the VIP special service standard, in accordance with the price list for this service. On March 13, 2020, the standard service will be closed until further notice. This means that Agap Sp. z o.o. is released from liability arising from concluded service contracts to the extent that the inability to perform contractual obligations is caused by the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

In the light of the above, Agap Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to rebuild (convert) all or part of the services, offered to change operational procedures and to take appropriate measures to adapt its business operations and contractual obligations to the current situation resulting from the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19.

In practice, invoking force majeure means that Agap Sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for any delays and additional fees related to the threat caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus on the domestic and international market, appearing during the implementation of concluded service contracts (both short and long-term, as well as one-off contracts). This applies, among others, to additional fees related to those offered by Agap Sp. z o.o. concerning all services. Each time you order AGAP services, you will be informed about the possibilities of providing these services, the standards of their implementation, as well as the price of the service.

We assure you that we will keep you updated on changes in the situation. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your designated account managers or customer service representatives.

Best regards,
